Our waiting list

Unfortunately, we also have a long waiting list of over 300 children.

Places for infants under 18 months are particularly sought-after. Due to the subsidies we receive, we are obliged to observe certain selection criteria.

Essentially, priority is given to members of the ETH, UNI and PH colleges, and to children whose siblings already attend the crèche. If a place becomes free on a certain weekday, we will make sure that a child is accepted who will fit into this group, with reference to its age and sex. For educational reasons, we cannot take more than 2 children under 12 months in a mixed-age group.

For the reasons stated above, the waiting list is no guarantee that you will obtain a place; you will not automatically move up the list in application date order. Therefore it is not possible for us to give you details on how long you will have to wait for a place. As soon as we receive notice that a place is no longer required, the manager of the day nursery will inform all of the parents who can be considered, or will contact them personally.

Cancellation

Parents who have found another place elsewhere need to cancel with us so we can continue our policy of not charging a fee for administering the waiting list. Please send a brief message to Gertrud Payer.
