A nanny is someone with teaching qualifications who looks after children of all ages in the family home.
A major advantage of this is the flexibility of the childcare and the fact that the child is in familiar surroundings. The parents and the nanny can also agree on specific aspects of how the child should be raised.
Costs
The costs vary depending on the nanny's training, although this arrangement generally costs more than a crèche. It cannot be subsidised.
