The Foundation for Childcare in the Zurich University Area (kihz)
The university area – a family and women-friendly centre for research
The kihz Foundation was established jointly by the University of Zurich and the ETH Federal Institute of Technology in 2002.
Offering childcare facilities that are tailored to people's needs makes
universities particularly attractive nowadays. Combining work and family life
is pivotal not only when it comes to recruiting the best researchers and
lecturers, but also when encouraging female development in the workplace. See
